The biannual show at Our Lady’s opens for three nights at Iontas Theatre on October 16th and this year the Transition Years and Fifth Year cast of over 80 students, are busy rehearsing the popular rock-pop show, “Loserville”.  Loserville, the smash-hit musical from London’s West End, takes geek to a whole new rock-pop level. It’s 1971 and the misfit computer geek,

Michael Dork (Cormac Mc Cusker), and his friends are about to change the world. It’s just that no one knows it yet. Michael’s has discovered a girl, Holly (Taryn Clarke), a prospect (almost) as exciting as his love of binary. If only he had the courage to talk to her! Loserville gives us the seventies with a cast of characters that are totally recognizable and a score that’s entirely contemporary. Featuring an electric pop-rock score the cast from Our Lady’s Secondary School are looking forward to rocking out in a high-octane, no-holds-barred feel-great musical. With over 20 leading roles, many cameo parts and 14 dance numbers, this show is a lively blend of high energy dance is definitely a show not to be missed. Choreography is by one of our past students, Sinead Courtney who is pursuing a career in the Performing Arts at Wilkes College in London. Musical Director is Cara Murray and Producers are Liza Hughes & Roisin Mason.
